You can manually pause or activate Pulse at any time to stop or allow participants to check in, ask for help, or receive notifications.

Change Pulse's status
- Sign in to your Pulse Coordinator dashboard
- Go to Settings > Pulse > Schedule.
- Select Change next to the Pulse status.
- Set the new status in the pop-up widget and select Save.
- Turn off the toggle to set the status to Paused.
- Turn on the toggle to set the status to Active and select Save.
What you can do next
You can:
- Set up term dates when students and staff can check in and ask for help. Setting up term dates is also the final step of your Pulse onboarding process.
- Set Pulse to auto-pause during term breaks and prevent users from checking in or receiving notifications.
