This article outlines key factors to consider before integrating your School Information System (SIS) or Management Information Systems (MIS) with Pulse through integration providers such as Wonde, Clever, or ClassLink.

4. Does your integration provider support your school’s information system?
The following table lists the supported information systems. This is not an exhaustive list and support for some systems may change over time. Always contact your integration provider for confirmation or advice.

5. Is your MIS or SIS data up to date, comprehensive and well-structured?
Pulse automatically enrols, un-enrols and moves users between groups to match your MIS or SIS. Ensure your SIS:
- Has accurate user data, such as first names, last names and email addresses.
- Contains all groups and sub-groups in your Pulse structure.
- Is regularly updated with new enrolments.
- Excludes students who have left the school.
- Match your school enrolment, including student movements between schools in your District, state, region or Trust.
6. Does the number of Pulse users justify integration?
Integrations provide the most value when you have many enrolments in Pulse. Consider if setting up integration with your SIS or MIS requires more work than manually managing enrolments in Pulse.
7. Have you started using Pulse already?
Take care when setting up an integration after Pulse has started for the school year. If you've already deployed Pulse for the year, it’s best to switch to an integration next school year to avoid disruptions to check-ins, reporting and monitoring participants’ wellbeing.
