What emails does Pulse send to participants?

This article is for Staff Members and Pulse Directors.

Pulse participants (staff and students enrolled to check in) receive emails based on the frequency and timing set by your Pulse Coordinator. This includes:

Gratitude emails

When a student or staff member sends gratitude, Pulse notifies the recipient by email. Staff members can send gratitude by selecting Give Gratitude from their Pulse dashboard. Staff members who are not enrolled to check in can also receive Gratitude emails.

Emails to Pulse Participants

Welcome emails

Participants receive Welcome emails like the one below when Pulse is first deployed in your school. The email briefly describes the check-in process and provides a link to sign in to Pulse.

Prompts to check in

Pulse sends prompt emails to let participants know it’s time to check in. Prompt emails are sent based on the frequency of your school’s check-in cadence (e.g. weekly, monthly). For example, Pulse will send a prompt email every Tuesday if weekly check-ins are scheduled for that day. Your Pulse Coordinator can update your school’s check-in cadence as needed.
