Student Pulse’s Gratitude dashboard provides an overview of gratitude-giving at your school. You can use the Gratitude dashboard to see how much and what kinds of gratitude your students are giving their peers and staff members, what they’re grateful for, and how gratitude-giving changes over time.
Current View
The Current shows how many times students send expressions of gratitude to peers and staff at school when they check in. This view has two sections:
Gratitude given
The types of gratitude that students have sent over the selected period. The overall score on the left indicates the total number of gratitudes sent. The small number underneath indicates the change in totals from the previous time period. In the example in Image 1, students sent a total of 52 gratitudes, an increase of 44 from the previous period.
What are you grateful for?
The answers students selected from a set of options in response to the question, "What are you grateful for?" The number on the left shows the total number of reasons students cited for their gratitude.
Note
The No gratitude figure refers to the number of times students checked in and chose not to send gratitudes to their peers or to staff members.

Understand your Gratitude data
Expressing gratitude contributes to a positive, supportive, and thriving learning environment that benefits students, teachers, and the school community. Pulse highlights what values students and staff are sending gratitude to the most.
You can use the Gratitude data to see where students align with your school’s values or recognise standout gratitude points.
