You can export three kinds of reports from your Pulse dashboard to help you explore your school’s Wellbeing and Experience check-in data. You can export the following reports:
- Summary Report: A summary of your Student Pulse or Staff Pulse check-in data.
- Wellbeing Data: A spreadsheet of responses to the Wellbeing questions. In Student Pulse, these are 'How are you feeling today?' and 'Which of these best describes how you are feeling?'. In Staff Pulse, this is 'How are you feeling at work this week?'
- Experience Data: A spreadsheet of responses to the Experience questions.

Warning
Reports exported from Pulse contain highly sensitive data. Ensure they’re saved in secure folders accessible only to authorised staff. Delete the exported reports when no longer needed.
Export custom date reports
Export data from your preferred custom date within the current school year. You can export data for the whole school or from a specific group, such as a year or grade level.
- Select the school or a group from the left-hand menu.
- Select Export Data at the top-right of your Pulse dashboard.
- The Data Export pop-up will appear. Select the download type (Summary report, Wellbeing data, Experience data).
- Select Custom date range.
- Select Custom weeks range.
- Select Start and End dates.
- Select Apply.
- Select Confirm and Download. Pulse will prepare your data, which can take a few seconds based on its size.
- On the Download prompt, select Download and save the file in a secure folder.
- Select Close to return to your dashboard.
Important
The calendar snaps to the start and end of your selected weeks. If you’ve set a custom date on your dashboard before exporting data, this date will be the default export date. You can change the custom date by selecting new Start and End dates.

Export previous school years’ reports
